  Avoid that holiday weight gain by participating in the 2024 Gingerbread Run/Walk 5K. The annual event, now in its 17th year, includes a kids' dash for ages 5 and under. Free water, coffee, bagels, and fruit will be provided for all entrants, with an awards ceremony and after-party at the Historic Lincoln Theatre at 103 E. Main. Get on your mark at 8:30 a.m. (8 a.m. for the kids' dash) on Saturday, 12/7. Early registration fee is $30 or $35 day of the race. Kids' dash fee is $15.

  Skyview Drive-In, named as the country's Best Drive-In Theater by USA Today, hosts their traditional Movie Night with Santa. This year's double-bill includes holiday classics Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas and Frosty the Snowman. Of course, the jolly old fella himself will be on hand for photo opportunities.
